The Annual Health Tech Summit
_SECTOR: HEALTHCornell Tech’s annual Health Tech Summit convenes some of the biggest names in health, AI, and technology, including innovators, academics, providers, payors, entrepreneurs, startups, and funders.
Mobilized by the potential of technology to address persistent challenges in healthcare, Cornell Tech is shaping the future of health tech and AI. Emergence developed the branding, messaging, and promotional materials to support the event; provides strategic guidance on fundraising, sponsorships, and programming; and leads on-site production and logistical planning.
_THE CHALLENGE
The United States grapples with significant barriers to healthcare access, an escalating mental health crisis, and healthcare workforce burnout, among other challenges. Recognizing the urgent need to address these issues, the Health Tech Summit is sparking a human-centered, AI-fueled, and clinically backed approach to health.
By creating a collaborative space for diverse stakeholders from industry, academia, and government, the Health Tech Summit facilitates actionable roadmaps for successful health tech solutions.
_SEARCHING FOR THE SIGNAL
In close collaboration with Cornell Tech leadership, Emergence Creative conducted thorough research and engaged in deep discussions with experts across sectors. This strategic process highlighted a crucial gap: the need for a platform where academics, government, clinical providers, startups, and funders could share insights and spur advancements in health tech. This process has been pivotal in shaping the agenda and focus areas for each year's Summit.
_EMERGENCE
With the insights gathered, Emergence meticulously crafted the Summit's brand identity and messaging. We then created all marketing collateral, including the website, newsletters, social posts, event materials, and media toolkits to help partners promote the event through their networks. Rooted in the brand positioning, our communications use a strong, resonant voice that echoes the urgency and importance of the subject.
We also provide strategic guidance on everything from sponsorship to programming to logistics. Through targeted marketing, we’ve built a foundation for what has become a landmark event on the Cornell Tech campus.
_ EVOLUTION
In its first four years, the Health Tech Summit has advanced responsible, effective, and equitable health and AI technology through keynotes, pitches, panels, and fireside chats. Each year’s program generates powerful dialogues, fosters partnerships, and showcases real-world solutions to address healthcare’s most pressing challenges.
The inaugural Summit in 2023 explored behavioral health technology, while the 2024,2025, and 2026 Summits have shifted the focus to AI, examining its impact across clinical outcomes, whole-person wellness, and administrative efficiencies, aligning with Cornell Tech’s broader goal to drive the AI era toward lasting economic and social prosperity.
As we look to the future, the Health Tech Summit is poised to evolve to meet the ever changing demands of the healthcare landscape and push the most promising innovations forward.

The Health Tech Summit is a premier gathering for the health AI ecosystem. Over the past 4 years, it has built an enduring platform for change, convening more than 1200 passionate individuals—including speakers from Apple, Microsoft, Mount Sinai, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services—to drive the conversation forward. The Health Tech Summit’s momentum continues with an increased focus on transformative impact, setting an ambitious agenda for the future of healthcare.
