“Health Next Summit”
_SECTOR: INNOVATIONThe inaugural HealthNext Summit was held at Cornell Tech in 2023 to bring innovators, academics, providers, startups, and funders in the behavioral health tech space together.
Mobilized by the growing mental health crisis, increased substance abuse, and a lack of healthcare access for millions of Americans, we set out to shape the conversation surrounding behavioral health tech. Emergence developed the branding, messaging, and promotional materials to support the event, and has provided strategic guidance on fundraising, sponsorships, and programming.

_THE CHALLENGE
The United States grapples with an escalating mental health crisis, heightened substance abuse issues, and significant barriers to healthcare access. Recognizing the urgent need for innovation in behavioral health technology, the inaugural Behavioral HealthNext Summit sought to spark meaningful conversations, create a collaborative space for diverse stakeholders, and ignite a movement towards a revolutionary approach in mental health and substance abuse care.
_SEARCHING FOR THE SIGNAL
Ahead of the Summit, Emergence Creative conducted thorough research and engaged in deep discussions with experts across sectors. This strategic process highlighted a crucial gap: the need for a united platform where academia, clinical providers, startups, and funders could converge to share insights and spur advancements in behavioral health tech. These findings were pivotal in shaping the Summit's agenda and focus areas.

With the insights gathered, Emergence meticulously crafted the Summit's identity, from branding and messaging to promotional materials, ensuring a strong, resonant voice that echoed the urgency and importance of the subject.
We also provided strategic guidance on everything from sponsorship to programming to logistics to build a foundation for what would become a landmark event.

The HealthNext Summit was more than an event; it was the start of a significant shift in the behavioral health tech sector. Post-Summit, the momentum continued with an increased focus on transformative impact, setting an ambitious agenda for HealthNext 2024.
