Anna has over 10 years of experience as an innovation, marketing, and content strategist. She was previously a senior member of the strategy team at global innovation consultancy, Redscout, and prior to that head of strategy for Captains of Industry, a content marketing agency. In both roles, Anna led teams of designers, thinkers and engineers in creating solutions at the intersection of consumer insights, business challenges, cultural and media opportunities. She's led projects in sectors ranging from healthcare, clean tech, nutrition, entertainment, higher education and social enterprise. Anna has targeted just 100 people and opened the Chinese market for a 40 billion dollar industry—either way she's found that getting to the answer might be complex, but the best strategies are deceptively simple. Anna started her career in traditional media, first at Artforum Magazine and then as an Assistant Editor at Penguin Books. In her spare time, Anna acts as Communications Chair for the Board of Empower Generation, a social enterprise which funds and trains women in Nepal to start their own clean energy businesses. Anna studied at Columbia University, where she earned a BA in Art History. She is an avid science fiction reader, organizes her closet by color and her crafting abilities put Martha Stewart to shame.
